IT asset remarketing in York and Red Lion, PA

Planning IT asset disposition (ITAD)? We assess surplus business IT equipment for consignment resale, with expected net recovery as the starting point.

Start with the equipment and the requirements

Office technology changes can leave computers, networking equipment, monitors and other electronics sitting unused. Share your asset list so we can discuss resale suitability, condition and the costs involved. Acceptance and collection depend on the equipment and an agreed scope.

For devices with storage, agree who is responsible for data handling and any required evidence before equipment changes hands. Do not include passwords, customer records or other sensitive data in your inquiry.

Evaluate the return before committing

Discuss estimated resale value alongside fees, handling, collection and your timing requirements. The goal is a worthwhile net return; a sale price or sale date cannot be promised.

IT equipment questions

How does remarketing fit into IT asset disposition (ITAD)?
Remarketing is the resale part of an IT asset disposition project. Surplus Remarketing assesses surplus IT equipment for consignment resale. Asset acceptance, collection and any data handling requirements must be agreed before transfer.
What information should I send about surplus IT equipment?
Send an asset list with makes, models, quantities, condition, photos, collection location and your deadline. Identify devices that contain storage or sensitive information, along with any required sanitization or documentation.
Does consignment resale include certified data destruction?
A resale assessment does not establish a data destruction or certified recycling service. If your project requires sanitization, destruction certificates, chain-of-custody records or a particular certification, confirm the written scope and responsible provider before transferring equipment.
Do you buy IT equipment outright?
Surplus Remarketing works on consignment. Fees, responsibilities, reporting and payout terms are agreed before work begins, with payouts based on sales under that agreement.
